Ceramic Tile Repairs
Ceramic tiles can be damaged during installation. Chips are commonplace but can be repaired by our technicians. Having filled the damaged area and sanded it to a smooth finish, the colour and pattern of the tile is replicated by our experts. On occasions, hard waxes are blended and used to fill the chipped area, with the pattern superimposed afterwards.
Cracked or Chipped Tiles
Cracked tiles sometimes occur due to slight unevenness on the floor or wall below. As the tiles settle, a crack may appear. Provided the surface is stable, our technicians will open the crack in order for the filler to hold. Once it has been smoothed so that the whole tile surface is flat, the pattern and tile colour are matched to the remainder of the surface making for a flawless repair.
Seamless Repairs To Stone and Marble
Other tile substrates, such as stone, are also repairable. While many of the same skills and principles are used to carry out the work, different materials may be required to ensure that a seamless repair is achieved.
