While The Refinishing Touch does not contract directly with the Ministry of Defence, it has worked widely across its facilities. Ranging from the Atom Weapons Research Establishment in Aldermaston to Air Force Bases across East Anglia, our technicians have repaired damage to hard surfaces as part of new builds as well as of refurbishments. The Refinishing Touch is accustomed to working in an environment which places stringent controls at times on the movement and actions of its technicians. All our staff undergo checks to ensure they are cleared for work in government facilities.
The Government owns a substantial property portfolio. When main contractors are building new facilities, our technicians have been called in to repair scratches, chips and gouges to dents to a wide range surfaces, such as panelling, doors, floors and window frames. Existing facilities are also subject to refurbishments. The Refinishing Touch has worked on living quarters, which have become tired and in need of updating. Rather than ripping out baths and replacing doors, our skilled technicians have carried out repairs to create an “as new” look at a fraction of the cost and time of replacement.
