Care and Cleaning
A Refinishing Touch surface is guaranteed against peeling. Our surfaces will provide many years of service when given the same care and maintenance recommended by manufacturers of bathroom and kitchen fixtures.
Once the technician has sprayed the new surface, do not touch or apply water to it for a minimum of four hours to allow it to cure fully. If a work top has been treated with stone fleck, we suggest that you are careful in the treatment of the surface over the first forty-eight hours.
After using a bath or shower tray, we recommend that they are rinsed thoroughly and wiped down with a soft sponge. Use mild detergents such as washing up liquid to prevent the build up of grease. When the surface is not in use, it should be kept dry. This will also prevent the build up of mineral deposits caused by hard water. Bath/shower mats and soap should be removed from the bath or shower tray surface, when not in use.
The “DO NOTS” of caring for your sanitary ware, whether the fixture is new or has been resurfaced.
Do not use any liquid or powder cleaning agents that contain abrasives, bleach or strong acids.
Do not allow any cleaners to remain on the surface for extended periods without rinsing.
Do not use steel wool, brushes or abrasive sponge pads.
Failure to comply with the above, may affect the validity of any warranty that we make.
